The start of my great weight loss blog

Quite Frankly m'dears this is just copied from my facebook page today

Was very good girl last week with healthy food and only one girly night and major gymmage. How in the name of all that's holy did I manage to put on 3lb! Very cross indeed! x x x

LC - I've put on 7lb since joining the gym 2 months ago! i'm calling it muscle but it seems to be very soft muscle, centred around my tummy! x
Me - I think that the gym is very naughty place indeed! What will I do about my growing BMI? Will be a 30 stone size 12 person who breaks chairs :( x x x
LC-possibly...but then so will i! surely though our metabolisms will speed up and remedy the situation...? xx
Me- I don't know!!!!!! All the facisty healthy people full of praise for healthy gym and healthy excercise and healthy salad and they are all v. skinny but possibly also v. heavy secretly? They do not break chairs as secretly hold selves off using legs of steelish muscle? I will investigate. Also order bikes for when we are in Sark :) x x x
ED - LOL Gwen!! Maybe they do secretly chair-hover!!! But yes, it will definitely actually factually be muscle, and maybe an increase in nice strong bone density so you won't shatter when doing post-retirement bungee jumping! And personally speaking, I wouldn't mind right now if all my size 12 trousers actually FITTED!! Hmmm....
AM-If you eat every 4 hours, your metabolism speeds up. You need carbs the size of one hand wrapped around your closed fist, protein the size of the palm of your hand and healthy fats the size of a shot glass for nuts/half a shot glass for oils. Swap sugar for agave nectar and keep gymming it. I read a book on it :) x
Me -That diet is very confusing and portions size of mens?
I will gym it till I can fit my little glutes in a pair of size 12 jeans and then I will gym it some more to stay in said tiny jeans (not while gymming it though) And to be fair, if I am up to 30 stone, I will write about myself in the British Medical Journal.

LS- Gwen, you are my dieting hero!
Me- I have bought the salad dodger diet that Andrea has reccommended and have a feeling that this will be a most excellent blog! I now have 70lb to lose to be a skinny malink, or as we will have to look at it about 140lb to put on in muscle so I am able to hover over picnic chairs like a good un! Hurray! x x x

At this point in time I must lose 70lb to be in a healthy BMI. Sadly I put on 3lb last week with MUCH healthy eating and MUCH gymmage! And only one night with a glass of wine or so...

I am logging every calorie I munch through and writing down all the excercise and looking through Several diet books along the way. I know it's got to be a complete change of diet and healthy living, so I never have to put myself through it again!

I will try and find a way of linking the scary diet monitor demon to the blog but if not, I will just show y'all the Maths.

Am off to Body Pump, Some cardio a la gymmage, and Body Balance this evening. - Think that should be worth a good thousand calories. Woooop! Also trying not to eat the excercise calories to boost weight loss. This could be a mistake and I will have to enjoy healthy nourishing wine with my dinner once or twice!

Right

Ok, I was off sick for a fortnight, and then I have had a horrendous cold/cough malarkey for the next 6 weeks so struggling to breathe etc.

So, Julia hasn't got time to finish the marathon, and at the moment I can't see me being able to catch up on all the training I have missed. I am looking at going to start doing triathlons, will start at the gym and hopefully, by next summer I will be going great.

I will try to remember to keep y'all updated about the baby steps i'm taking to be a super fit happy girl :)

What a weekend!

Hey

So now, I think that I was very brave indeed and went to Spinning on Friday night with Julia. Julia is EXTREMELY good at spinning. I am not- Went purple in the face and then I also nearly puked with the stress of it (after 5 mins) have never been so proud of myself for finishing and then getting home all by myself!

This remarkable bravery more than makes up for me being bedridden for most of Saturday and Sunday- Beloved found this deeply amusing indeed. I did not! Poor little me!

So yet another weekend off, but have got a fun exciting run tomorrow along the front as I have a night off from everything else! I shall keep you posted and will probably also put up some pics :(

Oooh and I spoke to Les Bourgs hospital and they use different units to the one Gran had which is for all the medications, and are £600. I think that that will be marvellous if I can raise enough cash to buy one of those. I will sort out a JustGiving page and link the link for starting to raise cash there! x x x

See my halo shine!

After my badness over the last few days, am sure all of my lovely fans would like to know that I managed 2 km on the cross trainer - and then hefted weights good oh for an hour at the body pump! Hurray!

And for added bonus. I walked to work this morning in a sporty 20 mins! In ridiculous shoes!

Hurray!

Highly enchanted by new leggings. Was supposed to be going for a run along the coast this evening for Amy's birthday treat! But I have power plate instruction instead. Apparently is very difficult workout! Looks funny to me, but super duper joy! Joy! Lovely endorphins rushing to my little brain and body completely covered in delicious tight clothes and shiny trainers and I have a hair band! Positive thoughts about my ever decreasing tummy and according to the scales at Beau Sejour, I have lost a stone! (Have NOT lost all that weight, but nice for the scales to say so!

Any way, you will be calling me rabbit so you can sing run rabbit run! Or can sing "Run Flanny, Run Flanny, Run, Run Run

Confession



I did not go to yoga Monday.

I almost cried to get out of running yesterday.

Today I ate the most massive brownie in the world that Amy bought because I asked for a massive cake! And then I threw a hissy fit because I hate taking on other people's rubbishy work and ate a Toastie!

I am going to the healthy gym with the Julia (It's Wednesday and I have new Karrimor equipment! Loving Sports Direct!)

The weekend

I was very cool and went to the gym to go to Body pump - kgs are not the same as lbs! Eek! Poor little Flan indeed :) Had to have very very hot bath with much Radox in it to relax the poor muscles. On the other hand, now have arms like Madonna (muscly and eech!)

Must confess that have done very little indeed over the weekend as very busy and couldn't manage to get up on Saturday morning before I went to the hairdressers for permanent blow dry. I can't get my hair wet so did not want to be a sweaty betty and have minging hair for work! Quelle Horreur!

I am off to yoga with my beloved this evening so that will be great stretchiness. Julia is getting us to go for a run tomorrow straight after work up to up north! Ooh the excitement!

And I have decided that I must also begin running to the gym. Else there's not much point in going?

Anyway, will keep you updated.
